Meet Our Staff
Owner
Ms. Staci Thompson attended North Carolina Central University studying Human Sciences with a focus on children from birth to Kindergarten. Her list of experiences includes Bright Horizons Family Solutions, Bala Cynwyd School for Young Children, and a Head Start Program in West Philadelphia, to name a few. Throughout her childcare career she learned the importance of each child having one on one attention from the teacher. Ms. Thompson realized this form of individualization also allows for teachers to inform parents of their child(ren)’s growth and development.
Director
Ms. Marie Young obtained her Associate degree in Early Childhood Education in November 2013. She has tons of experience; not only in childcare centers but also through raising three beautiful daughters of her own. Over the years, Marie has developed management skills and has become very knowledgeable in office administration, toddler care, and curriculum development. She brings her love for young children, excitement, and her expertise to Fountain of Knowledge to help us grow and set a new standard in childcare.
All Fountain of Knowledge staff are CPR and First Aid Certified. Each employee has obtained an FBI and Child Abuse clearance, as well as a Criminal History Background Check.
